Gummies are referred as novel and palatable means for supply of vitamins and nutrients to peoples, who found consuming medicines and syrups non-palatable. Tulsi contains vitamin K in abundance that plays a significant role in heart and bone health promoting characteristics. The study was aimed to evaluate gummies formulated with tulsi oil 2 ml supporting emotional well-being and a positive mood, gelatin make them rubbery and bouncy; agar reduces sugar content and honey used as a sweetening agent. The gummies after formulation were analysed on the parameters like physical appearance, stickiness and grittiness, determination of pH, determination of viscosity, antibacterial assay, UV visible Spectroscopy and in-vitro dissolution study. About sensory evaluation, the usage of tulsi oil improved the sensory characteristics of the gummy candy (overall acceptances 7.4 to 8.2; out of 9). The findings suggest that gummies from tulsi oil appears brown, without phase separation and good homogeneity....
